Unlocking the driver's door only - key programming

The ability to open only the driver's door of your vehicle with the key can be extremely practical in various situations. Especially in unsafe areas.

In this article, we will show you how to program your car key so that the first press opens only the driver's door, while the second press opens all other doors.

Hold the vehicle key in your hand, regardless of whether it is a keyless go key or a conventional key.

Press and hold both the close and open buttons on the key at the same time. Keep holding the buttons until the key flashes red twice. This may take a few seconds. Once the key has flashed red twice, it is reprogrammed.

Now, the first time you press the open button, only the driver's door should open. Press the open button a second time to unlock all other doors in the vehicle.

To undo the function and return the key to default mode, press and hold the Close and Open buttons on the key simultaneously until the key flashes twice again.
